Patients need to bring along their medical aid information, ID and a referral letter, if provided by their doctor. You may be asked to change into a gown and remove all jewellery and other metallic objects before the X-Ray.
Once you have completed your registration, patients are taken to the x-ray room to conduct the examination. After 30 minutes , they will receive the images and results of their x-ray.

Over the years, she has gained a wealth of experience working in the public sector as head of Chris Baragwanath Hospital’s Mammography Department for 15 years and 10 subsequent years in the private sector. Dr Bindapersad has extensive experience and expertise in the fields of digital mammography, bone care, performance of biopsies, women’s health and general radiology.
